LET’S MOOVE IT AGAIN

Maybe it’s the forgotten … or never even heard or read about Moove It Mommies Daily . Moove It is a movement initiated by the Daily Mommies to collect the milk box that will be distributed to street children.

Why milk box selected?

We are often puzzled when met little children on the road that brought her mother begging, peddling ngamen or even write a single paper without his parents. Giving them money does seem to teach them to stay on the road while not bear it if we can not do anything for them. Well, the milk box solution is quite fitting for this situation. Street children to get extra nutrients they need. In addition to their nutritional intake, milk box was practical and durable. We can save it in the car, so you can at any given time.

Is the number of our followers in 24-hour period to 3000? No. But his speech will Moove It was beyond expectations. Total donations collected is 6000 boxes of milk and then we distribute to street children and homes layover. Movement Moove It is actually done not because they want to increase the number of followers on Twitter, but through the media, we want to spread the message and hope that more and more who heard about this program, the more parties who want to do something for less fortunate children are.

This year we want to do the same movement with the name "Let’s Moove It Again 2011". Order to distribute the donations more organized and on target, we work closely with the Indonesian Street Children Organization (ISCO) . The plan distribution of donations will be starting Tuesday, December 6, 2011 until Saturday, December 10, 2011, at which the peak of the anniversary of the Daily Mommies 2nd celebration event will be held. The distribution itself will be conducted in five regions of Jakarta.

Are you expat and looking for good family place for holiday around JABODETABEK (JAkarta BOgor DEpok TAnggerang BEKasi)? I founded good website: Liburan Anak. I always used as direction for where a good place for holiday. Founded place for my kids to do climb and also flower garden from this site. Is very good. 

The story began when my kids has two weeks holiday from school and we have no plan for it. In the big city like Jakarta we have hundreds of shopping mall and to get a easy thing we can do is to go to a different mall each day, but I don’t want that. I want my kids to have outdoors activities, to teach them to be in nature, exercise and try something different then shopping mall, to be dirty is OK. I have been goggling where a good place for my kids activities then when I found this site.

First we tried the climbing place because is the closes want from where we life.Is in parking lot area of Pasar Festival in Kuningan.

The climbing place is own by Jakarta climbers, they have professional trainer named Panji or people like to call him mas Panji who will be ready three times a week every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday to teach your kids to do climb. The cost for each person is only 70 K (7.84 USD). And you can climb for two hours with about 30 meters high wall climb. My kids love it. They very happy. The do three times of climb and reach the top.

The second time we tried from this site is Taman Bunga Nusantara. The place is out Jakarta in the high land of the mountain area or like people said Puncak. Giant park with so many different flowers from all over the world. The park field with many different statue made from flowers. The place is quite windy and very nice.

The trip can take about two hours with car without traffic. The tips to go here to avoid the weekend. Traffic can be very killer during in the weekend. Last time we when there very early on Saturday and is was perfect but when we go home is took us five hours because of the traffic. Many tourist local like to go here during the weekend.

This two trips so far I have been used from this site. Still have lots of list I should follow from this site. So far the site only available in Bahasa Indonesia. I’m asking the admin to make the site available in English for recommendation expat family in Jakarta. They said is still in process with that. But, you can use goggle translate for translation.

I hope is help a bit and parent don’t need to be stress any more for family holiday plan. 

My husband and I are went for traditional massage in Bintaro area yesterday.The place named Puri Laras the Heritage Spa Bintaro. They have packet for couple. I’m not really remember the packet name but is about 800 K for two hours including massage for one hour, body scrub for 30 minutes and jacuzzi or whirlpool for 30 minutes plus complimentary food fried banana’s with cinnamon and fresh guava juice. Or you also can take A La Cate+Room charge for couple. The room is very big with two single massage bed, sofa, big square bath up is fit enough for 4 people, shower and toilet. Room design very unique with teak wood carving furniture. Once you entered you feel the different atmosphere comfy and cozy.  

The therapist is very well train. Very good massage with oil aroma therapy they hit up a bit. You can choose for aroma therapy oil is like eight or ten of it. I chosen the ginger. Scent good and when they hit it up a bit then put to your skin is just so relaxing. Friendly and polite therapist. During treatment they are very quite. Non of them are talking each others. And the sound of the little water running to bath up is just like a music. Quite and peace. After half and hour treatment is come the time for jacuzzi. For this you can choose between milk and salt. We chosen the salt. The therapist will leave you during the bath up time for 30 minute after that they will come back and bring you pajamas. The best massage I ever get. The cost and the quality is equal.

After massage, I took the hair treatment (hair creambath) and my hubby had facial. The hair treatment is just OK, nothing special from it. My advice just to do hair wash. The facial my hubby said was good.

For every body treatment you take from this is include facilities sauna, spa and jacuzzi pool. But my therapist not really know if is include. Better you make sure or ask about this in reception area.

Puri Laras is one of branch from Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa. They have branches almost in all over Indonesian and Asia. Taman Sari is one of the best come to traditional massage in Indonesian. Even for miss world who come and visit Indonesian will get treatment from this spa company.

Indonesian are well famous for the traditional massage with oil aroma therapy. But, not very easy to find the good place for couple massage.

RedWhite Lounge is one of the best jazz spot for jazz lover. One of my hobby is to listening music. Jazz is one of it. Mostly in Jakarta a daily place you can go to hear a jazz music is in a fancy restaurant. You go there for candle light dinner with live jazz music. But, RW Lounge are totally different. You don’t have to dress up to come here, you not pay expensive for the drink, you don’t need to put a make up. You just come as the way you are. As a people who’s appreciate a music. The founder Indra Lesmana is best talented jazz musician in Indonesian. 

Since I found this place until now is became my favorite jazz spot. Very good atmosphere and talented musician. Every month they have different schedule for band player and most of them are famous already in music industry. Last night was my lucky night, when I went there Indra Lesmana are playing featuring with Andien tribute to Jobim. My dream when I was a kid is to see Indra’s play in live. Indra’s play with eyes closed and the finger is dancing in the keyboard with pure heart. And with Andien sing also with pure heart. And also my opportunity to get her sign for my CD’s her album. No word can describe how good they are.
